Qualified candidates should:
- Hold a B.Sc. (Hons) or M.Sc. in Geology and/or Environmental Sciences with Oceanography and/or Chemistry as advantageous optional undergraduate courses.
- Be able to study in South Africa and enrol at North-West University
- Be able to provide their own fees and living expenses either through personal means, a bursary or shcolarship – as these fees cannot be guaranteed and cannot be paid from project funds.
