Dr Eugene Bergh has been actively involved in lecturing and supervision of students since 2012. The group is also involved in educational activities and public programmes.
University education
Dr Bergh has lectured at the first year to Honours levels to geography, environmental management, environmental sciences and geology students. He has also been actively involved in skills transfer to students through supervision of postgraduate projects.
Public engagement
The group has been actively involved in educating the public about past life on Earth and changing environments. Children are mostly the audience or participants in the programmes, but adults also find the activities and information fascinating.
Focus
The focus of our teaching is to educate undergraduate students, teach valuable skills to graduates and offer inclusive education about past and modern environmental change to all.
